Beginning of July

July was just as busy as June. I have a feeling we won't be having a lot of lazy days anymore. Either we have been busy busy or on vacation.

The three older boys did the Sports Agility camp the first couple days of July. They loved playing capture the flag, I did not enjoy another week of waking up early. Then Friday Bryan had the day off so we did chores around the house and work on my car to get ready to go to Utah. Saturday, we did more chores and then went to the CostCo parking lot to watch fireworks. Lake Grapevine flooded with all the rain we got this year and the parks around the lake were closed because they were under water (literally under water, I should try to find a photo from the internet of Meadowmere park where you can only see the roof tops of the bathrooms just above the water).

The second week of July was spent going to dr appts and getting everything ready to go Utah and then Northern California and then Southern California and then Arizona and then back home. Julia had her one year check up, "she's perfect." We were a little concerned about her right eye, which has been goopy since birth. So we went to Dr Tong, our pediatric ophthalmologist, where Julia got her right tear duct probed. I expected it but it was still hard to hear her scream from the other room. About 15 minutes, she was back and calmed down as soon as Bryan held her for a few minutes. Dr Tong was a little surprised at how quickly she was smiling and giving high fives after. Adam had been having soccer practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-8:15pm and practices on Saturday mornings. Isaac was playing indoor soccer with his games usually on Friday evenings and then practices on Saturday morning. Isaac got to play in his game Friday night  and then we started the long drive to Utah at almost 9pm.
Emily and kids came and played for a little bit and took off with Austin to help in the car. We were suppose to meet up in Amarillo but the hotel gave her room away and sent her up the road 10 miles. And then the next morning, we thought they would have been ahead of us since they were up the road by a ways but Em stopped for a big drink. And then it was potty breaks and baby breaks the rest of the way. I am glad Austin was with her to help so much. We got to Gma's house late evening, we hit rain on and off the entire trip.
Juju post-nap wearing a BYU dress that is still a little too big. Just didn't want to miss out on her wearing it.

Benjamin just being silly with his flip-flops on his knees while watching tv

Happy Fourth of July! Enjoying Sonic shakes after fireworks.

Dress she wore to church for Fourth of July. We love 'Merica!

She got tired of waiting for me to put her in her bed for a nap. I was busy packing and cleaning for Utah,

While I was packing and cleaning, they were making messes and "we're building, Mom"
