the rest of June 2015

The next few weeks of summer were really busy. Looking back I am surprised we did as much as we did, especially as we were getting ready to be gone for almost a month.
The week after Cub Scout Day Camp Adam took an enrichment class offered through the school district, "Moving on to Middle School." I am really glad he took it, they got to go around the school, check out classrooms, lockers and PE. They even took a change of clothes to practice changing for PE. There were a few kids in the class he knew and the teacher was his school counselor from OC Taylor, Mrs. Whisman. Our friends, the Burgoynes, moved so we tried to have the kids over as much as we could before they left. But since they were packing up, it wasn't nearly as much as we all would have liked. We already have plans to meet up in Yellowstone, maybe next summer. I am sure there are other things we did that week, but I cannot remember.
The next week, Austin had soccer camp from 8:30am to 11:30am. There weren't as many older kids as I would have liked but he still got to play soccer and practice skills every morning and the coaches were really nice and very good at engaging the kids. I think we had pool parties that week.
The last week in June, the three older boys had a Sports Agility Camp. It was Capture the Flag, speed races, and agility stuff. The camp was from 8:30-11:30 Monday-Thursday. They didn't have it on Friday because of Fourth of July on Saturday.

Going to Isaac's Indoor Soccer Game with his Evo team. We had a few friends join us while their parents and older siblings finished packing up their house.

All the kids after dinner, our friends moved the next morning.

Oh my gosh you guys have so much fun. That was super sweet of you to help your friend out, but sad she had to move. And I can't believe Adam is going to middle school. That was awesome that they had orientation to kind of ease them into it. I remember orientation and thinking that people still got dunked in the trash. All of my friends stuck together at all times (including bathrooms) just in case:)
