Nemo or Ambien?

I guess the boys were really worn out from a relaxing day at home and then dinner with friends. Adam had placed the little sofa on it's back side much earlier in the day, when it is like that Austin can't hurt himself as easily as when it is upright.

Are ya achin'...

Whose their Daddy? Yes, that is bacon they are both eating. Adam who has a hard time eating a bite of chicken, LOVES bacon. And Austin loves everything, BBQ Ribs (Bryan's specialty) on Tuesday night were kind of a surprise but they were tender enough.

my little monkey

Austin climbed up on the couch and of course I had to take pictures of it. He got remote controls and DVDs. After the 5th time, Bryan turned the couch around. I love my little monkey.

Hair Cut?

Adam got his hair (and ear) cut tonight. He did wonderful because he had his binky and was watching "Choo-choo" (for those of you that don't know, Polar Express is choo-choo).

Yum, Cantalope

We had the best cantalope tonight. Adam loved it but Austin loved it even more. Austin would do his angry shake and growl when it wasn't in his mouth fast enough.

Yosemite

Waterfall near cabin.
Waterfall near cabin.
Waterfall near cabin.
Matt was wonderful, he pushed the stoller most of the way up the steep, slantly road in the cold.
Adam slept through Easter Egg Hunt but enjoyed the candy after he got up, notice his cheeks are STUFFED.
Yosemite Falls.

"Hiking" up the Redwoods was memorable and cold. Yosemite Falls was great, much easier to push the stroller there. The Falls on our last day was really close to our cabin, the trail up to it was very rocky and not stroller friendly, so I had help carrying the boys up. We had a great time with everybody and I could not have come if EVERYONE did not help like they did. We are hoping to be able to go next year, hopefully Bryan will be able to come with us.

LONELY IN TEXAS?

Lonely in Texas doesn't look so lonely to me. It looks like you have found another family, they feed you dinner and play with the kids. We are glad the Warners have taken such great care of you while your wife and boys have left you during Finals.

Adam's Birthday

Adam's party was really fun. He actually opened his presents (as to last year when we "helped" him). He put the box on his head all by himself and then on his dad's head and then we had to stop him from putting it on Austi's head. We had burritos and I MADE HOMEMADE BEANS! I did it even without Janel walking me through it. Grandma Stewart made Rainbow cake, Uncle Matt's favorite. It was a great end to our visit to Cali.

Knott's Berry Farm

For Bryan's Spring break we were able to go to Cali, Nanny and Papa Brown took us to Knott's. It was a lot of fun and Adam had his favorite ride, the diesel trucks. He cried when he had to get out of the truck. The worker would unlatch the door and he would slide over and slam the door shut. After riding it 10 times, we decided that was enough. We had a great chicken lunch and loved the rolls. Austin was a good sport even though he looked like Quasimodo, due to an allergic reaction. The "Choo-choo" was also a big hit with the boys. Adam was just a little afraid of Snoopy.

Driving to Cali

I don't know how Bryan did this but I had to share them with the rest of the world.
He did this while driving and for those of you that know him, know what a travel natzi he is, so you know he did not stop to take these. It only took 27 hours (with about a 2 hour stop in Ariz. we loved seeing Aaron , Sally, & kids) but it was worth it. I will try to post more pictures of our trip soon. Adam had a great time with Nanny & Papa at Knott's Berry Farm and had a fun birthday party. Overall it was worth the 3 DAYS of driving to spend time with family and friends.
Adam and his "bubas," he talks to them like they are his friends.
Adam LOVES to sit in the bouncer with a blanket and his binky to watch movies.
Austi loves to eat everything and thinks that he is a big boy like his brother and wants everything Adam has; if he can reach it, he takes it.

Our Little Boys

It is hard to believe that our little boys are growing up so quickly. Adam will be turning two later this month and his current favorite word is "mine". He doesn't like it when Austin gets a hold of his cup and drinks his apple juice, which happens all the time because he leaves it setting out. He talks all the time and some of the words he uses are English words. Austin, on the other hand, is into everything because he has mastered crawling and pulling himself up. The kid is a little pig and will eat anything you give him. If you have a glass of some kind of fluid or a plate of some kind of food, he expects a bite or a drink. On March 10 we will be making the long trip to California for a week to enjoy a little vacation. Hope to see everyone soon.
