HAPPY Memorial Day

The Christensens came up to Waco and spent Memorial Day with us. We met them at the Mayborn Children's Museum and spent a few hours showing them around. After the museum, they came over for dinner. It was great to spend time with them before they go to Utah for 2 months.

Austin and Adam normally don't play in this part of the World room, Adam likes to play with the instruments and tools in the other section of the room.

Adam and Brayden play really well together. Even though Brayden will be 3 in July, the rough housing and just being boys is cute to watch.

*For those of you who don't know the Christensens, Dayna (mom of these cute kids) is Bryan's cousin.*

lil' jeep

Our friends, Matt & Michelle White, moved to GA last month, did not have room in the trailer for the jeep and offered it to Adam. They had a little kitchen too but Bryan and Matt both agreed that since Adam is male, he CANNOT have a kitchen. One of these days, Bryan will come home from work, to our house, and Adam will have a kitchen (this is me dreaming- house and work).
This was the first time we put Austin in with Adam and as you can see had a great time. Adam isn't frowning because Austi is with him, he actually slid over, tapped the seat and said "Austi sit." We made Adam stop to take pictures and the sun was in his eyes , so the cause of the frown.
Adam was in charge of the pedal and Austi steering. Austin can't reach the pedal and took "control" of the wheel.

BIG Helper

Adam HAD to feed Austi his rice cereal this morning. Okay, he only got to feed him 4 bites before Austin took the spoon away BUT he wanted to help and I want to encourage that. He is always wanting to get Austin's milk for him and likes to help change his diaper (we have figured out that if hands us the wipes that is plenty of helping).

Burritos or Hamburgers?

I have been thinking about taking pictures of the things we eat for dinner and quizing Adam on what they are. Since Tuesday, when we had bacon-ranch-cheeseburgers, he has been calling all dinner food hamburgers (but he says it really cute). The boys' eating has gotten a lot better over the past few weeks. Austin is drinking half&half now and Adam is actually drinking milk again (it is still chocolate).

I don't know if they like to be under the table because they are "fixing" it or because they aren't in my direct line of vision. I am lucky that they play so well together.

Quasi at the Museum

When the Monsons were here we took them to the Children's Museum. Conrad's eye was irritated from the sunscreen and everyone still had a great time, we just wish they could have seen the whole museum.

Diaper Change

Yes, he fell asleep DURING a diaper change! I have never changed a diaper so easily before. I just wanted to brag.

Our Blog Is Back

Adam is obsessed with vacuuming the floor with his mother. He has now upgraded from his little toy vacuum to the real vacuum. As you can see in the picture, we put the little couch in front of the entertainment center to keep Austin from destroying the stereo and DVD's. Austin was so proud of himself and was nothing but smiles when he climbed up onto the couch.
