swim lessons

The end of May and beginning of June, the older boys took swim lessons. They loved them. They wanted to take more lessons, we took them through the community college but we weren't going to be home for 2 consecutive weeks for the rest of the summer and we couldn't match up with my friend (maybe next year Bethany). As you can see I took a lot of photos. Toddler I had a great time, if he was eating. I tried to let him walk around during the lessons, that did NOT work, he wanted to be in the water so bad, so he ended up spending most of the time in the stroller.

Disneyland with cousins

Way back in May, we met up with part of Bryan's family at Disneyland. Bryan's brother and family, sister with her 2 girls, and his parents were there (even though I only have a few photos with only a couple of people there. My brother Matt also came because I know how Bryan likes to spend time with his family and I knew I would need help with Toddler I. My boys asked me today, if we could go tomorrow (the answer was no because I am getting ready to go to Germany on Wednesday and have house guests tomorrow night- Matt leaves from John Wayne for Brazil on Tuesday morning, and then I am picking up my cousin Tuesday night- yeah, I a lot going on right now).

this classic face is one of my favorite photos, I think he was done having his photo taken (I have about 4 or 5 of him in a row.

Toddler i's Birthday

I asked the boys what we should do for their little brother's birthday, their response "Disneyland." That is what we do for birthdays and apparently it was silly of me to even ask. My parents were able to join us and we had great time and dinner was entertaining too (even with everyone being tired).

Hide-N-Seek

While Beebe was visiting for the temple trip, we did a lot (the zoo, California Adventures) but my favorite was watching them play Hide-N-Seek. They kept hiding in the same places but this spot got vetoed after the first hiding because we (mostly Beebe) was nervous that it would fall on top the boys or babies. I also LOVED when Bryan joined mid game, got in the corner, pulled a blanket over himself (right in front of Con, who was "It") and after lapping around the room again, Con was so scared when he pulled the blanket off and Bryan was the one under the blanket.

Temple Trip with Matt

We went to the temple with Matt and here are the photos that were taken at Outback afterward. Thanks to Dad and Beebe for going home to take care of crying, inconsolable babies. It was a fun night. I hope we have just as much fun with everyone.

C.A. with Beebe

**Happy Birthday Mike**

We tried to go to California Adventures the Friday before but we were blacked out, but we had a FABULOUS time on Monday. I have decided that if I could only go to one park (between the 2) it would be C.A. My boys are so entertained there. We also took advantage of the boys willing to pose near the letters outside the park. It was a fun day but REALLY grateful Mom and Matt were able to join us.

back to the future

We parked next to this car in the parking lot of Wal-Mart one Saturday and had to take photos of it for Dad.

Zoo with Beebe, Can, Gracie and Katie

We went to Disneyland thinking that we would be able to go, we drove all the way there and when we went to park the attendant told me, we were blacked out that day. So plan B was going to the Santa Ana Zoo. It is small but they have a FABULOUS monkey exhibit and it is right across the freeway from Bryan's office. We had a great time and the boys fed the goats, which was very entertaining to watch.

Easter 2009

I realize Easter was MONTHS ago but don't hate. I am trying to catch up.

We spent Easter morning at our house, went to our own ward and then went to my parents' house for dinner and an Easter egg hunt (Katie and Matt were very excited about it). It was a great, relaxing day.

Bryan getting a splinter out of his arm (we did yard work the day before and there is a terrible plant that has thorns, we both got pretty scratched up from that horrible thing).
