Adam's New Couch

We have been searching for a chair for Adam for quite some time and we found this one on clearance at Target. He likes to lounge on it and watch the Backyardigans. Adam likes to help make cookies and he likes eating the dough even more. He has a little plastic stool that he carries around so he can help cook. Austin is starting to pull himself up and is close to crawling.

Eating with the Brown Boys

Adam enjoys vacuuming and thinks he belongs in Kiss. Austin thinks he is super baby (and so do I). Adam and Austin having been eating pretty well since we have been back in Texas. Yes, that is MILK!!! that Adam is drinking, not a lot but he is drinking it.

Back in Texas

We enjoyed our visit with family in California for Christmas and the New Year, but the time passed too quickly. Adam likes Santa when he sees him on Polar Express but he doesn't like to sit on his lap. He also enjoyed shooting everyone at the party with his toy pistol. Thanks again for all the presents and for putting up with us.

What Happens When Mom's Not Around

It Is Cold In Texas

On Saturday it was in the 80's and then in the 40's on Sunday. The weather here changes very quickly. At night it has been dropping down into the 30's and we have a chance of snow on Wednesday. The weather, as well as our frequent viewing of The Polar Express, make it seem like Christmas. We purchased a fake tree and decorated it with lights and ornaments. The first picture is of Adam, in case you couldn't see him due to the camouflage shirt and pants.

Sunday Morning Pictures

Our church doesn't start until one o'clock so we have plenty of time to kill in the morning. However, we still tend to be late to church now and again, but Karin is never to blame. Adam loves to watch Polar Express, and as you can tell in the pictures, he'd rather watch TV than smile for the photograph.

Due to the fact that we didn't post any pictures for Halloween, we decided to post some pictures of the boys in their costumes. Adam didn't want anything to do with his costume and Austin is too young to care.

Happy Thanksgiving

As you can see, Adam is very fond of his good friend Hailey and Austin enjoys a good ride in the stroller. Adam was very upset when we pulled him out of the Corvette when we were at Sam's Club. If he had to make a Christmas list, the Corvette would be the first gift on the list. We had a good Thanksgiving with Jarrod, Susannah, Elena, Anne, and the Bennetts up in Dallas.

Adam

We took Adam to the doctor's on Monday so they could get a blood and urine sample. Adam hates the going to the doctor and it was a big struggle to have his blood drawn. I attempted to explain to him that we were there due to his lack of eating and that we would not have to go again if he started eating. We have altered our approach in feeding him and he has been responding very positively over the past three days. He is very good with Austin and loves to help in taking care of him.
