*Oh, I might add I will be going to do lab work tomorrow morning and then another trip to the doctor's next week so I am planning on lots of sympathy for all my time being spent at the doctor's instead of spending it running around with the boys, cleaning, laundry, and cooking.

Doctor, Doctor
I went to the doctor's for myself yesterday and for both boys (by myself) today. The boys, to quote the doctor, are perfect. They have nothing wrong with them, except for Little A being a picky eater. They both got Hep A shots, which I wasn't really prepared for, so no pain medication until we got home. Little A was so exhausted (because the only appointments close together were during nap time) that he would doze off then wake up whining "hurt, hurt" touching his leg. I felt so bad. But we made it home in under 15 minutes and medication was administered. Now Little A is sleeping and Big A has started on the "potty during nap time" routine but he will be asleep shortly. What should I do with this "free" time? Laundry? No, I did some yesterday so I won't do any today. Clean bathrooms? No, might wake the boys (great justification, right?). Start dinner? No, I don't really feel like cooking anything; it is a beautiful summer day maybe we will have sandwiches at the park. Surf the web? Well, okay since I have nothing better to do.
Big A sporting the band-aid from the shot.
Little A napping on Big A's bed (his new thing to take his stuff out of his bed and nap on brother's bed)
*Oh, I might add I will be going to do lab work tomorrow morning and then another trip to the doctor's next week so I am planning on lots of sympathy for all my time being spent at the doctor's instead of spending it running around with the boys, cleaning, laundry, and cooking.

I feel your pain and your boys pain. I went to the G.I. today and had lots of blood taken. I go back for more humiliation in two weeks. Yay!
What's the potty at naptime routine that affords you such precious internet time? Why are you going to the doctor so much?
Sympathy given from our end!!! Both my kids have appointments on the 5th. Craig will be off for the week so he HAS to come with us. Ha Ha Ha! He's not excited but I am!!! And...same question from us... Why are you going to the doctor so much? You've got us speculating now....
I know just how you feel. I just took my girls to the doctor 2 days ago. So are you going to leave everyone hanging...
glad the boys are healthy! What are you visiting the Dr. for missy?!
Your Ped. has fun band aids! Ours has the lame-o brown ones. My kids are always disappointed.
Oh...the doctor....we go way too often, but with our military insurance, it is free....so why not! Today we said goodbye to Dr. Gamble. Jacob was so cute. He said spontaeously, "Dr Gamble, Thanks for taking care of me." It was too sweet. Jon has never gone with me and the boys to the doctor....NEVER!!!!!
That picture of Austin reminds me of Bryan in the law library.
Everyone thinks you're going to the doc because you're pregnant. You better set them all straight before rumors start flying...
Your boys are adorable! Next week I'll watch them while you go to your appts. all by yourself!!
How I do long for those wonderful naps in the law library. Especially when the suspicious librarian would casually pass by because she thought we were cooking flapjacks. Garlic Boy was notorious for taking naps on the floor. He had the whole process perfected. He was the best at it. He would brush his teeth, change his clothes, eat his food in the library, and use newspaper as a blanket. Well, not the newspaper part, but he would put a homeless man to shame.
Doctor trips are not always the most fun but when the doctor tells you they are healthy and well it makes it worth it!! Ethan just got his Hep A shot on Thursday. Luckily Peter was there to assist and comfort!
