I took the boys to Disneyland for playgroup yesterday. I had everything planned perfectly. I had snacks & water and more diapers & wipes than I could possibly think of using. I realized after being in the park for several hours that I didn't have my camera. I had remembered packing in the car, so I was really hoping I had left it in the car, instead of someone stealing out of my stroller. I was a little bummed because I made a goal with myself to take more pictures with my camera of the things that we do. I thought this was the perfect occasion. I, also, thought we would go and spend the morning and early afternoon and be on the freeway by 3pm. I noticed the time at 3:20 and all the kids were still acting great. I informed the other moms I wasn't going to leave now until, at the earliest, 6pm (to avoid traffic). They all decided the same thing. We tried to convince our husbands to come too but none of them did.
I have never done so many things before. We went on rides we had never been on and we went to Turtle Talk in California Adventure, which was pretty neat. We went on Nemo, the first few minutes are pretty boring but then it is AWESOME and it was a long ride. We went on Winnie the Pooh ride and Monster's Inc ride, the boys liked both of those. Haunted Mansion was closed but we went on all of our usual rides. Overall it was a great day and I got to know some ladies (and their kids) a little bit better.
*Oh when I got home Bryan had started dinner, which I was grateful for because I hadn't really eaten any real food all day. The boys went to bed very nicely, which was different from the night before when they were both still awake (in bed) after 11PM! And then they woke up a little after 7am yesterday and around 9:30 this morning. I love Disneyland for that reason.

I am still jealous of your Disney life, although Emily Y. has accused me of living a Disney movie life here in NC. You know birds making me dresses and stuff. You'll really miss it when you move to CO, TX, or maybe NC. Huh, what do you think? Life in an actual Disney movie. You too can have birds make you dresses if you move here. Just kidding.
Sounds like you had a blast!!! I think it is soooo cool that you live by Disneyland. I know what you are thinking..."YOU REALLY SHOULD VISIT!" If you do move away from Cali, your boys are going to sooooo miss all of the fun!
Ya, you are lucky! Sounds like a great day...fun at Disneyland, dinner started, and kids in bed at a nice time. What more could a mom ask for, right? ;)
I am so jealous that you get to go there so often. I can't wait until we go to Disney World next fall.
I wish I could get all over you for not having a camera, but who are we kidding? When was the last time I posted a photo of my precious bundle who now sucks on his own toes?
Sounds like a great day! I'm jealous. I LOVE DISNEYLAND! One day last week Briel was talking about princess things and then added, "Next time we go to Disneyland", into the conversation. I wanted to pack a bag and just the two of us go again. I think it will be even more fun next time when she knows what to anticipate. You are SO LUCKY!! Enjoy it for all of us who only get an occasional overdose!
