Bryan has wanted a king-sized bed for a long time and since our stuff is in storage in Texas and we needed a bed for here. So here is our Cal-King bed with Bryan "stretched-out." In his defense, I took the boys out of our bed (and Austin snuggles right up against you and you end up on the edge of the bed) right before I took the picture.
My next big purchase will be a comforter for our bed but I decided I am picky and cheap, so it might be a while before we get that. But if you find something inexpensive and not too girly (I prefer greens and blues and we have a white bed skirt that I love), let me know about it.

I really want a nap now. Maybe I should get some stuff done so that when the boys are napping I can nap too (who am I kidding, that isn't going to happen). We are going to Disneyland for FHE if anyone wants to join us.

Nice bed! Our kids like to get in our bed, too. Maybe someday we can get a bed big enough for all of us! WE want to come to FHE with you tonight!Unfortunately.... Anyway, my mom just brought Briel a beauiful Belle gown from Disneyland, so in that respect, we feel like we've been there recently.
The kids and I are going to be in Utah from about July 24th to sometime the second or third week of September. (Craig will be there with us for a while but then he'll fly home and we'll stay while he starts PC. We heard the first three weeks are horrid so we decided we should just stay in Utah and let him do his thing...) So we could try to meet up sometime in the Provo area, when you guys are there. Send me your cell phone number sometime. Have fun tonight without us!
Try overstock.com. I've found good bedding deals there. And, if you can afford it, get a down comforter. You'll be glad you did. I have had one for years and I just swap out duvet covers when I want a new design.
PS - Once you go king, you never go back. There's a lot to be said for cuddling, then rolling over to sleep on your own side.
hee hee, I am snickering a bit at the thought of Bryan sleeping in a bed with flowers all over it!
Try landsend.com and click on their "overstocks" link. EddieBauer outlet, or thecompanystore.com (click on their outlet too). Crate&Barrel has an online outlet as well.
There, who needs a nap when you can shop bedding all afternoon. Oh- don't forget ebay too!
ikea baby, ikea
I can't believe you inherited the Great Grandma Nielson flower quilt! I'd be Completely Jealous, but I have the hot pink silky one that Dad got for performing that marriage in Mexicali so many years ago.
Cal-king sounds comfy!! New beds are awesome! I found my bedding on overstock.com, but if you want to feel and look at the products and you want a good price, try a burlington coat factory if there is one nearby or a bedbath and beyond! So jeleous on your FHE outing, sounds like such fun, I know Ethan would love it! Maybe near the end of the year, for now I have South Africa to work towards!
Bryan sure looks comfy in his new bed! I second Ali's duvet suggestion. Not only can you change the look of your bed quite easily, the duvet can go in the washer- a big plus with little guys around.
why do I have to post daily and you don't? don't you think I get more bored than you do??
